I managed to put together a new dev snapshot (after some trouble), which is
available here:
http://code.call-cc.org/dev-snapshots/2025/10/25/chicken-6.0.0pre2.tar.gz
It doesn't appear on the dev-snapshots page (I don't know how to do that),
but should work with CRUNCH without any problems.
