Hi,

I installed Chicken Scheme 6.0.0 from the targz on FreeBSD 15.1
and wanted to compile my program that uses modules.

When I try to build using csm with -static, I get an error
"csc: could not find linked extension".
Without the -static, it builds fine.

I tried to bring it back to the minimum as an example:

file: hello-main.scm
--------------------
(module hello
  ( )

  (import scheme)
  (import chicken.base)
  (import chicken.file)
  (import (chicken format))
  (import (chicken string))
  (import hello-print)

  (doit)
)

file: hello-print.scm
---------------------
(module hello-print (doit)

  (import scheme)
  (import chicken.base)
  (import chicken.file)
  (import (chicken format))
  (import (chicken string))

  (define (doit)
     (format #t "hello world!"))
)

and trying to build with:

csm -static -program hello -main hello-main.scm

which will generate the error:
csc: could not find linked extension: hello-print

On version 5.4.0 this works fine.

Am I doing something wrong?

Best regards,

Matto
