Yes, your suggestion was right.
I added SDL2.dll to the directory and it worked!

Here is the new content of my directory on Windows:
$ ls -1
libchicken.dll
libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll
main.exe
SDL2.dll
sdl2-features.so
sdl2-internals.so
sdl2.so
srfi-1.so

This was hard to guess for me because the error message does not tell me something like
"SDL2.dll is missing".
Problem fixed!

Thank you.
Best regards.

However, as I want to make my program compatible to Windows (32-bit), I have a
cross compiler on Linux.
So, I cross compile my program on Linux for Windows.
Then I copy my .exe from Linux to a directory on a computer that is running
Windows.
And the problem happens on Windows.
I am not using Wine.

Ok, thanks for this information.

Do you see why my program using the "sdl2" egg doesn't work whereas my program using the
"srfi-1" egg works?

Is it possible that sdl2 depends on other shared libraries that are not
available?
Perhaps a .so/.dll can not be loaded due to a mising dependency. If you invoke
main.exe with the "-:d" it will show which dynamic libraries are loaded
explicitly.
