Greetings and salutations fellow CHI owners!! I have 2 Chis, Bruiser who is 8 mos old and Phoebe who is 4 mos old. They are teacup Chis and my husband and I are looking to breed them. We are new to the whole breeding thing and have never done this before. Before we go to the vet and get the info from him I was looking from some advice from my fellow Chi owners. About when should Phoebe come into heat and what do I need to be expecting when she does other than to seperate the 2?? Also how soon after the 1st heat can I look to put them together?? I know that the vet will tell us all about this but I would also feel comfortable having some inside tips from someone who has actually bread Chis. Thanks for the advice and the help, this group has helped me get through quite a lot since we almost lost Phoebe when we brought her home to hyperglycemia. She is doing great now and full of piss and vinegar thanks to all the wonderful advice from you and our vet of course.
