Have you tried Satin Balls? They are like
raw meatballs, and they do love them. You just have to be careful
because "easy Keepers" will get fat on them. My dogs love them, and I've
learned to balance them enuf that I can maintain their weight. It has
all the protein and sugar and stuff in it.. one word of caution--this makes a
ton.. a ton.. a ton...

hypoglycemia
Hi- Am new to group and looking for a little advice. I
have a 7 month old male that I've had since January. He is wonderful in
every way. He is now 3.1 lbs and still struggles with low blood sugar.
He is a picky eater and will leave his food untouched until his stomach
rumbles. He does not get as droopy as he did when he was younger and
nutri-cal works wonders. I would like to be able to wean him off of it,
however, and have been unable to get him to eat when he's clearly
hungry. I have free fed him since he was little, and his weight is good.
I have tried different premium foods and have tried a balanced diet of
meat, carbs, and vegetables.Of course, he loves people food best and I
have no problem continuing this if only he would eat regularly. My vet
says he is in top condition so I'm at a bit of a loss. He gets plenty
of exercise but it doesn't seem to affect his appetite much one way or
the other. Any advice? Thanks.
