I won't feed anything with by-products or corn in it. My vet says that kibble is better than canned food when it comes to teeth. I quit feeding canned and make my own with chicken gizzards, hearts etc. I also brush my dogs teeth and make sure she has plenty of things to chew on... bully sticks, greenies etc.

Science Diet pays vets big money to promote them. I would not feed it. But to each his own. IMO I would not feed Eukanuba or Iams either. There are so many brands out there with much better quality food. And if you think feeding kibble cleans or is good for teeth think again lol.ALL MY OWN OPINION LOLJen

eating semi-moist purina for a while now. After the vet pulled all of
her retained baby teeth, she couldn't eat the hard crunchy food. Now
she seems to be getting tired of the semi-moist and I wanted to put
her back on the dry (convenience and for her teeth) anyway. Do any of
you feed Science diet? Have you had good luck with it? The vet I used
to work for fed all of his dogs science diet and we sold it there. So
I figure it is pretty good. I've always heard that it's a good food
too. Just wanted to know what ya'll think. There are only 3 well-known
American name brands here to choose from (Science Diet, Iams, and
Eukanuba). ~Lacey
