All who know me well has known Ariel is in the headstart program. She has been in it since she was three and it has helped her so much. She can write her name, knows her letters, how to count and can pretty much go into 1st grade right now at the age of 4. The headstart program takes children 3 to 5 that aren't in Kindergaten yet and prepares them for school by learning through play. They also teach your children how to brush there teeth correctly and serve two meals to them. We have been on the urge to lose this program. They want to change this program and take away it's funding too. They want to have the children to just do worksheets and play outside. Take away it's funding on all the awesome learning tools they have and the playground equipment. I am asking you please go to this site and fill out a petition to congress. You don't even have to write the letter just put your info in it. My child and other children deserve this privilege to have this program stick around. Children are the future and a lot of them will be thanking y'all when they have gotten into the college they wanted because they have started there education early with head start and were able to get a schlorship because they were in that program. I'm sorry I know I am rambling, but this is really important to and to my two daughters. Thanks for reading
