Hi Lacey, Thanks for the reply. He will be crate trained. It is truly the only way to go. I've even thought about trying to set up some kind of program where pet shelters could send crates home with dogs they adopt out. I think the shelters would be a lot less busy if more people crate trained! So you think one will be okay then. That's good. We had two of our Great Danes as puppies, and that was not easy!
