Hey thanks for the ideas, I'm going to do what Lacey suggested and call around to see if anyone has reported a missing collie. Thank God for my neighbor because last night their kids were out playing and when I let the collie out to go to the bathroom she ran straight to them. Then when the parents were going in she brought the dog back up to my mom and my mom was like "oh no, there is no way we can keep her here with our 3 dogs" So the woman took the collie with her and we brought her over some food. They had been talking about wanting to get a dog for their kids so hopefully this will work out with them! *fingers crossed. I kind of felt bad that mom just put this dog on them but today I looked outside and they were out walking her on a leash! It would be wonderful if they decided to keep her!

I missed the original post, but if you will do a search,  you should find a
collie rescue that you can call.  Most states have purebred rescues and you
should find some assistance there.  Since she is agitated, it may be that
this puppy is lost or abandoned.  No, a shelter would make her a wreck.
