Thats too young, But if she bonds with you and you guys get tight she will really be a pal for life. My dog and I are so close that i just picked up a doberman pinscher named duke that is 10x her size, and my chihuahua won't let the other dog with in 10 feet of me. They do get along, and if you think you can jump the fence because its just a little chihuahua, wait 30 seconds then you have 150lbs of doberman to deal with. hehehe did i mention its jet black?
