I'm glad your mom's chis are doing better. I'd have been freaking out! 
I was in the ER last night for 4 hours. My 2 y/o turned to run and hit 
the corner of my sofa table right above his eye (but below the 
eyebrow). Had to have stitches. SO I made it through my first 
emergency..lol. Anyway, let us know all about your new pup!!!  ~Lacey
