Betty, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Yes, it is often as difficult
to loose a beloved pet as it is to loose a human companion. Our problem, as
humans, with death, is that we tend to look at how much we have lost rather
than the fact that the one that has gone on is no longer suffering, sad,
ect. And I am the worst at that, I don't deal with death well at all. keep
Misty's pictures, toys, ect nearby for as long as you need to and don't let
anyone criticize you for your grief or mourning. She was lucky to have a
human who gave her 14 wonderful years. I am confident she loved you as much
as you loved her. You are in my prayers.
