I feel like I have grown up around Chihuahuas My mom has had hers for 13 years and I have always had one. Right now I have three chihuahuas 2 females one male. My first female we have had since a puppy. Her name is Tiny Bubbles. My male is Demon and he fits his name we have only had him for 6 months. He came to us when he was a 1 1/2 and he had major issues. He was a fear biter and hated everyone but me. He now goes to the whole family but still hates any guy that comes to the house. But he will let them pet him if I am holding him. We just acquired our third chihuahua. She is a rescue dog from a puppy mill. She is a beautiful while and tan longhaired chihuahua without any teeth. She is only six but the puppy mill bred her every heat and didnt give her good nutrition. We are working on her right now. She is starting to get more lovable. She grew up in a cage with no humane contact other than to breed or eat. I love breeders who take care of their momma dogs. The puppy mills make it harder for the actual breeder to be liked. Breeders are not bad people ever. But puppy mills are senseless. If you consider getting another dog get a rescue dog or an owner turn in. This helps get more dogs rescued and in homes. I didnt mean to preach sorry. I am happy I found this group to talk about everything chihuahua. Bye for now
