I have one of each. My male is older and definately a mama's boy.
He is a bit stand offish with everyone else and prefers to spend
most of his day in bed. He rarely wants to just sit in my lap but is
more than happy to come share my covers. Paco is socially inept and
does not really know how to play with my other chi or my yorkie
puppy, he prefers to just make noises at them. He is very
intelligent and knows his commands, he just refuses to do them
unless there is something in it for him. He is the only dog I know
to fail obedience class. My problem with Paco is he will pee on the
floor out of spite if he feels neglected. My female on the other
hand will wait all day and them some instead of messing the floor.
Pixie was definately easier to train (commands and potty training).
She is very active but also super snuggly.

They are both great. Paco was really tiny when he came home to us
and he was an only child so I do realize that his lack of social
skills and maybe some of his bad habits were fueled by us being over
protective however the according to the breeder he was always a
little full of himself!

I say go with the one that grabs your heart!!!
