I still have scars on my arms from my chow biting me. However, I must admit, I deserved it! My mom was weedeating the kennel one day and Fritos got scared and tried to get out. I pulled his tail to pull him back in and he bit me one bite. I took the other hand and kinda "hit" him on the butt for doing that, and he bit that hand!! lol. I did deserve it, but I was a TEEN! I refused to go to the ER until I knew my dog was safely back in his kennel. Regardless of what had happened, my concern was for his safety. He lived to be 14 and died peacefully in his sleep. For some reason, 14 seems to be the magic age for my pets, as I have lost 4 at the age of 14. Marsha
