I personally free feed my dogs. There is always food available for them to eat whenever they choose. Even if you don't plan to free feed, I would go ahead and leave some food out of you are to be gone that long, and make sure she always has plenty of fresh water in a location where she can get to it, but not tip it over.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Food,work,ect...

Me again!!!!

I got her the Royal Canin Baby Dog formula today because she is still soooo tiny (7.5 weeks old and1lb 4oz.now!)...I weighed her on my Weight Watchers Food Scale...Yes, I am a Weight Watcher Drop Out (hanging head).

I also got the Baby formula because she is still not really drinking and eating like she should....Soooo I thought I would try this and move to the Puppy formula when she starts eating better.

I have noticed that after she poo's she scoots her bottom across the pad lately....I thought that was a sign of worms....I took her to the vet to get her 1st checkup this past Monday and they checked her for worms and it was negative.....hmmmmm
Anyone???

I go back to work this week :o( and I have to leave *Miss Stella* for about 6-7 hours...She will not be alone...My 83 year old Grandma lives with us and she will be here to talk to her, look after her,ect....I am not so sure about her feeding *Miss Stella* though, she gets confused at times and well I would rather not worry her with that....I know I need to leave her (*Miss Stella*) some food in her pen...so maybe some Baby Dog dry food???

I work for the School System and our Thanksgiving break is over now :o(.....I have so enjoyed being home with my new baby this week!

Any advice / suggestions are welcome!!!
Thanks,
    Kathy :o)
