Hi all
To the new chi groupies here, and to be brief. My Sophie had an eye
puncture. Then microsurgery. There was worry she might still lose
her eye or be blind in that eye. Good news at her 1st recheck this
morning! =D The eye is sensitive to light! This of course means she
has vision in it. The surgery looks great. There is no sign of
infection in the eye. A blood clot is 100% gone from the front of her
eye. Losing her eye now is very doubtful.=D There is still a blood
clot in the back of the eye, so the doctor can't see the retina still. The
retina may still be partially detached. Now that the front blood clot is
gone, the doctor could see that the eyeball had filled up with blood, which is
bad for the retina. He just still can't see the retina. Her next
appt, in one month, he will be able to see it and we should know
everything. But.... I am sooo happy and relieved!! From such a
terrible injury, it looks like the worst would be she would have some vision
loss in the one eye. GO SOPHIEEE!! =D
thanks all =D
