My 4 year old 4 pound chi has a hurt paw. It started last monday. We took him with us to the xmas tree stand in the Starbucks parking lot. When we got home he was favoring that paw. I didnt notice any injuries. His pay started to swell and the next day was pretty big and he kept licking it. It looked like he had scrapped the skin between the pads. I have been putting Corona on it....us it on my horses feet. I also have the foot wrapped in vet wrap. Clean it twice a day with peroxiede and fresh bandage. It started to look better but today the swelling is so bad. It's like twice the size of his other paw and the skin between the pads still looks raw. I plan to take him to the vet on Monday. Anyone have any ideas?
