to those of you who knit and crochet-Have you ever
tried making a chi sweater with a knitting machine? If so, how did
it work?

Thanks
Rocky,
I do crochet a lot and had tried something simular only with
regular
yarn and was not happy with it. Will get some baby
yarn. I think
that's a great idea.
Thanks

I would be happy to share the pattern only I made it as I went.
Do
you crochet? I made the chain starting at the belly area long
enough
to go around his middle with a little bit to lap over. I used
baby
yarn and an F hook and crocheted hdcs even until the piece
covered
what I wanted it to of the body up to the front legs. When
you get to
the front leg part you will need to measure the size
across the back
that goes from front leg to front leg. (I slip
stitched about 13 sts
and then continued in hdc for the number to go
across the back,
leaving the end 13 sts un crocheted. You then go
back and forth in hdc
until the piece is to the neck area. When you
get to the neck go
across the row and then ch however many it takes
to go around the neck
with some lapping over. I then did 3 more rows
of hdc. I put small
snaps (3) on the underside belly area and one
small snap to fasten the
neck area. I do have lots of crochet dog
sweater patterns, just none
this small. Hope this makes sense. If you
need any help let me know.
