Mine makes it perfectly clear that her naps should be in my lap....... LOL
Don't know what kind of bed you have but keep in mind that Chi's love
to burrow down under something. Can you make her some kind of pocket
blanket that can be her sleepy blanket, she apparently likes the close comfort
of the small carrier, get her use to it and then put it in the place where you
want her to nap. I keep a blanket or old sweat shirt in a certain chair and
Allay goes there most of the time. Her second choice is Daddys chair in
the TV room as it also has a blanket.
1/2 yard of a quilted material would make about the right size for a Chi
up to around 10 pounds.

My little girl Carmela will sleep in her carrier ( not the kind for extended stay) if she is unable to sleep in the bed with someone or on the couch. I have noticed this and will zip the bag up and place it somewhere so she can not get it. The carrier is the size of a tote purse. This morning she even layed on top of the bag. She sleeps in the bed in her crate. Any suggestions?
