Thanks, Sasha, Liz, Katie, Ronnie and Nonnie. Well I feel better about our guess now that I've heard from you all. Thanks for the compliments on my friend's buddy - he's happy to hear you think his boy is cute too. :)

Sash > I bet your little wire haired terrier mix was a cute one too, Sasha! And you're right about him having a lot of personality. He has a thing for bare toes, and he knows I won't give him the opportunity to slather mine in doggy spit if I can avoid it. So,last time I was visiting with my friends, he went into stealth mode to get me. I came out of the shower and walked into the bedroom, I sat on the bed and kicked off my slippers. The second the slippers came off, he SPRANG from underneath the bed and licked all over every toe he could reach! He plotted it out - because my friend said that when I came out of the bathroom, he saw Nippy run for the bedroom and dive under the bed to wait. LOL. He's incorrigible with toes. At least when he steals my socks, he only flips them and doesn't eat them. He takes them in stealth mode too ... he'll peak around a corner and make sure you're not looking before he grabs one and runs. I wish I could clone him! --- Liz Dowall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Is there such a thing as a "wire haired" Jack > Russell? There is a short coat that we all see all the time, a broken coat and a long haired coat (sort of like a westie). My friend has a 14yr old long haired male. Thanks about Nippy - I've relayed the kind comments to Nippy's very proud pappa (as if he needs any more reason to dote). But, you almost never see the broken and long coated jack russells, I wonder if they just weren't as popular and maybe are nearly bred out? Not sure. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
