Kay I am so absolutely thrilled for you! Congratulations on it all. You'll find the way to help Allay accept it all. She's doing well.
I'm sorry to hear that there was a bad accident on the highway, but I guess you can be thankful you weren't there when it happened. Thank heavens for that. Pictures were really fun to see. Ate andfell into bed only to be woke up many times by terrible thunderstorms........... Allay was a real little trooper. I piut a pillow on my lap and shesettled in like a old pro. That part of the trip down was great. Wewere late and the storms were terrible. I called Teri and we desidedshe would bring Jose to us the next morning. Trip home.....So this morning Teri came with Jose, We loved him, Allay growled at him, He ignored her. Took right to Allen and startedplaying with toys. Both dogs were uneasy on the start back, Allayreally did not want him in my lap. So he got in back and she got on mylap. Then after about an hour I made them change places and she satbetween the seats on a storage box and he was in my lap. Finally shegot in my arms while he had my lap. When we changed drivers, he got on Allens lap and Allay went backbetween the seats and laid her head on my arm. Allen let me drive about an hour then couldn't set still, so Iwent back to holding the dogs. Put Jose on one side of the pillow and covered him up, he seemed toreally like that, Put Allay on the other side of the pillow andcovered her up and that was how we finished the trip. It was sofunny cause the first thing she did was turn her back to him, butevery so often would have to look over at him. The expression just said "Are you still there" So it was kind of an uneasy truce. We got home. Told Allen to unlock the door and I would bring the dogsin. Carried both and sat them both down on a throw rug in the kitchen, and all of a sudden everything wasOK, Allay took Jose on a complete tour of the house. First thepuppy pad, then the food location, then she ran from room to room withhim following her. Then they came back to the den and started playing. Everything was fine. She even introduced him to the cats. The one cat that is usually soshy even let him smell all over her. After their blatters got empty and their tummies got full, we went toget something to eat...... We were both to tired to try to cook us something. Found out that there hadbeen a bad pile up on I-95, 3 cars (one of them a van full of people)and a Semi, Seems the Van cut in front of the Semi and put on it'sbreaks. The Semi plowed into it. Three people were killed, I don'tknow how many hurt...... The day has ended very peacefully with Allen, Jose and Allay in therecliner sleeping and all 3 snoring. Jose is a light cream with some white on his neck & chest and asmall white spot on his head, He also had a little darker honey color half moon under each eye, Kind of like he has bags under his eyes, but it's just color. He is not a long hair, but hishair is longer then Allay's Very soft too. I know there is no such thing as a medium length butthat is what he would be. Mom was a long coat and Dad a smooth coat. He's almost a dear head, Very pretty head and snout. He is just super sweet and very socialized too. He was so busy running around that he would not stand still for apicture, I got about two dozen blur's for these two........ LOL We still have a jealousisy problem with him being held especially byme, She growls, but has not tried to nip. I think that will pass as long as she gets a lot ofextra TLC.... We are very pleased with him. Teri was wonderful to work with. She wasthe first one I called when we got home. Right now I'm so tired I can't see straight and I'mgoing to bed and see how much company I have in bed............ LOL " Lets talk about our wonderful little friends! Join today!
