Hi Katie, I want to thank you .. First of all I would never just "get rid of my dog." I spent two years talking to this person. I really care about her and the only reason I thought something happened is because I contacted someone else and they said "oh , I saw her yesterday" . I was in tears for hours over this. It has nothing to do with money. 27.00 would resolve the issue. Once I get the AKC papers then the problem is over. But the real issue for me is staying in contact and close because of my dog.. (the one I sent).. I have no intentions of losing contact.. What happened is that other person thought I was talking about someone else.
Anyway, I did not just get rid of my dog. My dog had other needs and I felt that this family could be better suited to make her have a happier life.. The decision was very painful and I made it only after backing out like two times previously .. Sometime we need to look at what
is best for our dog.. When my kids grew up and left home my lab died with in a couple of years from boredom.. I can't get out there and play with him like the kids did . He just sat around after the kids left and every kid he saw he wanted to be with. If Echo could have lived a little longer and been happy and I could still keep in touch and see him then I would have gladly and lovingly placed him in another home with kids. Cindy

Hi CindyGlad everything worked out! I had something like that happen when my daughter and I were getting this Exotic Shorthair cat, so I know the frustration you felt I paid for the cat, but didn't have her yet, and suddenly for days I could not contact the breeder. I vented and vented and vented to my daughter that I was sure we had been ripped off!! The breeder did surface and we have the cat, but now it's like the breeder has fallen off the face off the earth. I still tell my daughter I think we were lucky to get the cat. It's strange, because Sophie's breeder and I email all the time.katie
