I am going home tonight and getting the
water bottle out! Cause I will have lots of barking at the pug.
Thanks for replying
Tracey
I'm a big advocate of the spray bottle too. I only had to use it twice
to get the little guy to stop barking in the house. Now as soon as he sees the
bottle, he lies down and takes a little 'time out.'

Don’t kill me, just had to laugh
here, I got a pug puppy recently and she doesn’t bark –my chi male
puppy does! A lot at her!—I am going to have to really start spraying him
with a squirt bottle.. Ok everyone out there, does that mean he is the alpha
dog?
Yes the water bottle is one of the best tools for especially barking
or chewing something they shouldn't be chewing!
And it is getting to
the point they (4 dogs) see me reach for it and
they stop! Except
outside, our one pug is a constant barker...cannot
get him to stop.
I purchased one of those electronic things you
hang on the wall that
emits a sound that only the dogs hear, well I
cannot get that to
work either! When we can, without Sparticus
(pug) knowing we are
coming we throw a glass of water out towards
him. We don't throw it
on him, but just to startle him, and that works
for a little while.
But then he starts barking at anyone and anything
he can. Any ideas
would help us all with this problem. I know
they are dogs and they
do bark, but for no real reason is driving my
hubby and me crazy.
