naturally, as a Deaf person, the barking doesn't bother me...lol. However, my son gets sooo mad. Then again, he gets mad over everything these days! Around our parts, there are dogs barking all the time. There is always some dog barking somewhere night and day, but we just consider it a part of country life, no one really pays much attention to it. I guess you get use to things. Like around here, crickets and dogs are normal, but someone from our parts couldn't sleep well in a city with the lights flashing, music and car horns ect.
I was wondering how the bark laws would affect someone like myself. One of my chis is a hearing dog. His job is to bark and alert me to any and all sounds I need to be alerted to. Under the ADA, this would require an accommodation. But which would trump? My ada accommodation or the anti bark laws???? Food for thought.
