As I recall you said this is the 3rd time your dog was attacked. See

People need to keep the stupid big dogs on a leash,
My poor wawa had to get 14 stiches because a stupid
sled dog chewed her up. I'm so tired of this crap, this is
about the 3rd time this has happened, but this is the first time
she got hurt seriously. she has been attacted by german
shepherds 2 times and now by a sled dog. Keep your [EMAIL PROTECTED]
mutts on a leash!

I don't recall that you clearly stated that you were shooting dogs that
get into your
trash can.......... That is very easy to solve for less then
$10.00.......
A trash can with handles, a lid with a handle and a good strong bungie
cord attached
to a handle, run through the handle of the lid and attached to the
other handle. I guarantee
it even keeps panthers and bobcats, racoons and opossoms out as well
as large dogs.
50 lbs and up. Also works well with horse, cattle or any other critter
feed.

okay, when did I mention that the JR attacked? He and his buddy are
going through the thrash, jumped into my car and runs to my dog. A
25 pound plus dog doesnt need to be aggresive to kill a three pound
dog, ust stepping on it is enough or nipping in a friendly manner,
geez louise even my cat could kill my dog if he wanted. The JR doesnt
have the manners to play with Skeeter. My dog is on a retractable
leash by the way.I have plenty of common sense sug. I would suggest
to read everything and not to make up your own story.
I have never mentioend a fight. It is very easy to hit a dogs
hinny when he hs the face in your trash can.Depending where the wind
comes from the pepperspray can hit you .
I also would appreciate watching your language
Connie
To hit a dog in the hind quarters you have to aim from the side.
And unless as we all seem to expect its' not, then if your dog is
on a
leash as it should be, the only target you have is the face of the
dog
attacking you......... How dumb do you think we all are.......
As
for ammonia water or pepper spray, why isn't your dog close enough
to
you that you are aiming at a approaching dog, not one already
involved
in a fight....... and if they are already fighting, then either
spray is a necessity, to break it up and your own dog can be rushed
inside and it's face stuck under a fauset to wash it's eyes.....
and
what are you going to do now with a BB gun, shoot at them
both???????? The sprays are much better then rushed to the vet for
life saving surgery.
This is stupid and growing more so with every post. I suggest
that
you grow up, read a few good books on how to take care of your dog,
and try growing some common sence.

I know iforgot to mention in my first mail that i use a
plastic BB,
THE OWNER GETS VISITS FROM ANIMAL CONTROL ON A REGULAR BASIS,
but if
they dont see the dog out they wont do anything. Even when i
took a
cell phone pic.The amonia i cant do that because i would also
hit my
kids or my dog, and i dont like to use Pepperspray. The cops
down
here dont do anything ever.I dont have the money for a lawyer,
plus
the neighbor would have a better one anyways. And i will have to
wait
another year till we move.

Okay, ok, we're problem solving here.
YOU don't need a attorney for small claims court, the court has
reps
who can
help you free of charge, or they do here in San Francisco.
BUT, hey I don't know your situation, wouldn't own a gun of any
sort, even a
BB Gun.
Just doesn't fit my style. Nor, Do I find I have need of one,
Thank
the
Goddess.
You can adjust a bottle sprayer to spray with a very accurate
stream, easy
to keep from hitting you, your child, or your dog, weird cause
you
say you
don't want the ammonia spray to hit them, but you already aim a
BB
gun, and don't
worry about stray plastic BBs, that doesn't add up. I don't
believe
I ever
even mentioned Pepper Spray, which also seems mean to me.
I suppose you haven't tried to have a problem solving dialogue
with
the
neighbor, have you? Have you ever attempted to take this issue
to the
neighborhood watch, if you have one. Have you ever talked in
person,
in a reasonable way
to the local Animal Control office manager, telling them about
your
concern
of your child, and the JR jumping into your car? Or perhaps
taken
this up
with your local city councilman.
Perhaps you could take this problem of your child being in
danger up
with
the base's commanding officer and they could help you relocate.
Have you found a way to take this from victim mentality, to
someone
taking
legal, thoughtful action. Again, Have you ever thought about
choosing the "High
Road"?
Oh by the way, in "netiquette", the etiquette of the Internet,
CAPS
mean you
are yelling.
