There are no kill shelters. I have volunteered at one and when we moved here I adopted Joker, my cat with IBS. He lived there for three years ( given up as a kitten) because of his problem and they wouldn't adopt him out. They only agreed to let me since I worked for a vet and know how to deal with it. I signed a contract stating if it didn't work out I would return him so he could live out his life there. Also, this shelter keeps tabs on it's adoptees and never sends animals to a different shelter. They do however take them in. Vicki

However my mom knew a person that worked in a shelter for several years. This person told my mom that most homeless animals are shipped from shelter to shelter for several weeks to be adopted. Not only that but there are such a thing as no kill shelters. > > > > > Jennifer. > > > > > you are probably signing a death warrant on the dog by bringing it to a shelter. Don't you realize over 95 percent of all dogs brought to the shelter which are unrecognized go unclaimed and unadopted and therefore die! > > Nonnie & the Punk & Darla > " Lets talk about our wonderful little friends!
