First thing to worry about is whether she is in good shape physically. If
you haven't already, make sure you schedule her for her first vet check. Unless
she is loosing weight or showing signs of illness, lethargy, ect., she will eat
when she is hungry. At 10 weeks, she is just now getting use to the fact that
momma's milk is gone.lol She is also more interested in playing and exploring
than eating. Unless there is a physical illness going on, she isn't going to
starve, her body wont allow it. Give her a little time, but be careful about
trying too many different things, it can lead to upset stomachs and picky eating
later on. Try to free feed. Keep the food available at all times for her to eat
when she is ready. Just keep a close eye on her and make sure she doesn't start
loosing weight or acting sick. Also, if she is not eating as much as she should,
be very careful to watch for signs of (low sugar....guys help me out with the
spelling of that hypo word again! lol) Keep a sugar supplement handy in case of
an emergency. My guess is, she will eat when she wants (as opposed to when you
want her too lol).

Hey Marsha, Well I'm new to this also , and new to the Chi
world - I have one that is 10 months and one that is 10 weeks old today ---
and my question is - I can't get the 10 week old puppy to eat very much, any
ideas- tried just about everything possible- and she refuses dog food even
soaked in water/warm, no cottage cheese, will do cheese and ground pork, and
chicken on her terms, only had her a week and gettting scared she's not
getting enough nutrition. Any Ideas
