Hello everybody,
I wish Bear could sleep in the bed with us. I toss and turn a lot and
kick in my sleep. I'm scared I'd hurt the little guy. He seems
pretty content in his crate (he knows it as his house). I sit him on
the floor and tell him its bed time go get in your house and he gets
in and I cover him up. He has a sheepskin (not real) bed, a stuffed
racoon, and a warming pad that can be heated in the microwave that I
heat up when its cold. Its not a king size bed, but it ain't bad! He
sleeps next to me in the recliner a lot and we have been known to fall
asleep on the floor together playing.

Bear is worn out from a long romp off the leash in the back yard, a
bath, combing, brushing, ear cleaning, and toe nail clipping.
Incidentally he had to have a bath because his back yard romp took him
right through the ditch that drains to the creek. (Hes never tried to
get in it before, but today was different) It was full of muck, mud
and algea. Bear also rolled through a wet spot in the yard and was
covered in grass and leaves. You never saw such a happy dog. Mommy
was not happy that Daddy let Bear off the leash thus Daddy
administered an unscheduled bath. I told her he needed one anyway.
(he really didn't, but he had sooo much fun and I had fun watching him.)

Chris (& Bear)
