Hi   Spaying may help her to quit humping.  Some times a spayed dog will still hump and then you could try changing her behavior with a squirt bottle , etc.  Generally,dogs should be spayed before their first heat at 6 months.  Spaying them before the first heat gives the dog the lowest chance of developing breast cancer.  With toy dogs a lot of people will wait and spay when their dog is right about your dog's age.  This is so if the toy dog were to have retained puppy teeth (common), you wouldn't end up having 2 surgeries on your dog and have to have her put under 2xs.  You don't want her to go into her 2nd heat.  You should get her scheduled right away for her spay.   Katie                     " Lets talk about our wonderful little friends!
