Yep! I used to breed and show bulldogs for many years.  There is just so 
many risks with breeding bulldogs as they MUST have Csections.  I lost 
my "Darlyn" in a Csection and bottle fed 7 puppies.  Soon after that, I 
decided breeding was NOT for me. Even after all the years working on a 
wonderfull breeding line. These are my kids!  I cant do something to 
them that knowingly risks theirs lives.

The only two I have left are now 12 and 13yrs old.  I'm really getting 
nervous about how much time I have left with them. They are very old for 
a bulldog.

Instead I now put all my time and money into doing rescue.

I'd love to see a picture of Ms Stella!
