I wouldn't worry about her gaining weight. When she gets to the
appropriate weight that she should be at, it will stop on it's own
(unless you are feeding her a really high calorie food plus loads of
other foods). You shouldn't be able to see a dogs ribs, but they
should have a "waist-line". Sorry about your predictament this
weekend! That would scare the crap out of me! but yes, also very
embarassing... lol. ~Lacey

I guess maybe this Chi might evolve into being a big girl Chi. I
told my roomate that Cricket could weigh as much as 12-13 pounds by
the time she's two years old. She was at the Vet yesterday and the
vet said not to let her gain anymore weight... at 4.5 months?
hmmm...

Sunday. About two hours later, our Cricket was acting like she was
dying... turned out that she must have eaten some Marajuana, enough
to make her pass out for a long time. Scared the dickens out of
us. We went and looked for it and of course didn't find any plants
or anything like that... She was passed out for over 12 hours...
cost us $129.50 for the vet to lecture us about not to letting her
eat pot... like she got it from us!!!! It was pretty embarassing,
as we do not use pot for recreation or medicine.
