Hi Bill~   I agree with you about men needing to show their softer side and speak kindly to these dogs. Chihuahuas are very sensitive.   I think my husband has given up hope about this dog ever liking him.  He was trying to pick him up today and he actually defecated in fear.  I will have him take your advice and keep trying.   Thanks for your help!   Kim " Lets talk about our wonderful little friends!
