Albon huh? I thought he sounded like Coccidia. He will pep up real quick on the Albon and they love it. Depending on how old your other dog is, will depend on the food. I would not feed an adult food to a puppy nor visa versa. I like Royal Canin Puppy 33, real small kibble and they love it but it is to high in protein for adult dogs. They get FAT!! I am so happy to hear he is ok. Coccidia is very dangerous. I bet you are happy he is home.

He's home! :)
He came home with some fancy "legwarmers" as I called the wraps where
they took his IVs out. I called and asked if he could have them off
as he just couldn't get comfortable to sleep with those on and the
receptionist girl said he didn't much care for the IVs either and
yes, he could have the wraps off so he's sleeping now after a tiny
bit to eat and a poo and pee. :)
They gave a detailed list of what they did. They did a parvo test, a
glucose test, fecal exam, gave 2 oral meds, 3 standard injections, 1
IV and pump, 1 bag of fluids, 1 "nutritional support," and a CBC.
They sent him home with Albon to take for 7 days, Reglan for 5 days,
a tube of Nutracal if he won't eat for a while, and 2 cans of Science
Diet Prescription Diet i/d that he's to take for 2 days then move to
a canned food mixed with dry just to make sure he eats it. I may try
that Nature's Variety stuff as they sell it in one of my favorite pet
stores or can anybody name off good foods in an order of your opinion
on best first and so on so that I can go do my research on
availability in my area, cost to ship it to me if that's needed,
etc? Thanks everyone!
I think I remember Innova, Wellness and Nature's Variety being
mentioned and was hoping the same food could be used for my Tzus
too.
