I'm not slow on this off topic, I've been
thinking=P
What little boy wouldn't like earthworms? Here is
a link to an idea. It's made way too complicated and you could simplify it
so easily. Only one of my kid's is still in school, but that's high
school. I have been to so many science fairs!! A lot of ideas came
to mind, but I know you posted to the group to get a more animal/living thing
type of an idea. Lacey, I highly doubt I have to tell you this, but
through all his years of science projects ahead, make sure he does the vast
majority of the project and totally understands it, etc. (A parent may
need to pound a nail, etc) It was always kind of silly to me when I would
go to a science fair and look at some kids' projects that could barely read
yet and all their information was computer generated graphs and tables and
all=)
