Hi Kathy, I know exactly what you mean about these dogs being a god send for depression. I have suffered from chronic depression my whole life. (perhaps at three years is when I ca nremeber it beginning) Over the pst thrity years, I havetried every drug, homeopathic remedy, exercise regime, dite plan, heat therapy, light therapy available and nothing is ever effective log term. My chi and now my new Mini Pin, are a na bosulte god send. Nubi, my chi has given me the conistentcy of love and security that I have craved all my life. I will never be without a chi or two and my mini pins ever again.

A few years ago our daughter (whom was in college at the time) wanted a chihuahua. Well we bulked at the idea as I always remembered my grandparents chi, who would bite your ankles all the time & was just plain nasty! They didn't train him properly and thought it was funny! > > Well to make a long store short, Sarah (our daughters) best friends Aunt bred chihuahuas and had an "accidental" litter. I went over to meet the baby...and it was love at firs sight! We got him for her for Chritmas that year, and just fell head over heels for him. He was the start of our love of chi's as we had to raise him while she was a school! Since then she has been married, got another male chi (which we hope to breed at sometime as Twix had to be neutered because only one testicle dropped)! > > Well anyway, since then we got two little girl chis, one (Mimi) will be spayed soon as she has some inherant problems, and Sabrina we are hoping to mate with Brutus (our new little boy). We have done tons of research on chi's before we made this lifetime decision as many are very long lived1 But we have found chihuahuas fabulous for us. You just need to make sure you are ready for a puppy (if that is what you decide on) or the problems of a rescue if you go that route again which I feel is a wonderful thing to do! > > Oh well, I rambled enough, > > -- > Kathy in PA > http://www.weluvchis.zoomshare.com/ > take a look at our furbabies! > " Lets talk about our wonderful little friends!
