Oils of most any kind have been used and work good. Some folks even use veggie oil. Don't use to much or stuff will start sliding through them if you know what I mean. I bathe mine in Oatmeal shampoo. Helps coat and skin. Also use Natures Miracle conditioner on his coat. It makes the coat really soft.
