That's not true.  It's not a problem because of the way pork has to be raised.

What did the dog die of?  I'd be interested in knowing more information.

Also keep in mind that many dogs have died from brands of dog food,
tennis balls, etc.  Nothing is 100% safe, but I personally feel that
giving my dogs a more natural diet is much better for them in the long
run than loading them up on grains and corn that they cannot digest.
