Yes, Sophie is ONLY walked in a harness.  This reminds me of something I've wanted to mention.  Sophie's a smooth coat so she doesn't go to a groomer but many of the members here have the long hair chis.  Way back I had a tiny yorkie girl.  She went to the groomer's one day and right away, after, started doing the honking from the collapse trach.  It didn't take me long to figure that out!  Groomers often restrain the dogs using a collar and leash set up  Somehow my yorkie must of pulled or the groomer must of pulled (grrrr) and it ended up hurting my yorkies trach.  If any of your toy dogs, of any kind, go to a groomer, don't let them use that set up. katie " Lets talk about our wonderful little friends!
