ago, and I read that if the dad dog or the mama dog of a litter is
under a certain age(the ages are on the site) the litter cannot be
registered without jumping through a few hoops. (AKC would want
proof when a breeder is saying some "puppy" sired a litter, etc.)

That is interesting Katie, do you think that the AKC is trying to
control breeding a little better? (I am not really up on USA
standards) I have read some horrible things about puppymills and BYB's
but I am not sure what the situation is really like there...
