When i was a breeder of rat tiers i also rescued. I think most breeders woud l like to give back to their breed.

Which is exactly WHY I would like to do chi rescues as well. I absolutely adore this bred. I love all animals period and am an animal rights activist. I am a vegetarian and don't buy leather/fur ect, for this very reason, but the Chihuahua has captured my heart like no other, so I would LOVE to do chi rescues, but sometimes what you want, and what others allow of you, are not the same. Sad fact.

I understand that there are issues brought up to those who breed and do rescue.... My question is...if you are breeding dogs responsibly, you need to love the breed and want what is very best for it.  It seems that rescue should be a responsibility of a responsible breeder...JMHO!!!
