Here is a photo that I took of one of our Shiba girls back in 1989, she's wearing a pair of the Doggy Britches that I mentioned in an earlier post. They were so cute, they had a double row of ruffles on them and they tied on both sides, however I think that the velcro would be even better. These pants were also called "Hot Pants".
