So sorry to hear that your greyhound girl passed. I think that the greyhounds are truly an elegant breed. We have always been intrigued with the little Italian Greyhounds.
Oh believe me, I know all about chis trying to outrun the cats. Tia and our Siamese zoom through house and little Tia keeps up with them very well <lol>
I've been meaning to ask you, have you had any luck finding a little female chi yet?

I had a rescue greyhound who recently passed from cancer.  She was the fastest thing ever but only weighed in at 50 lbs.  I lured coursed her and she loved it.  I do miss her!  Now I have a Chi who thinks he is a race cat and is still trying to out run my Siamese.  Anna

Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] dew claw that grew back
If you have ever seen chi's running in tight circles, that is why you
would want them removed. Any dog going full out leans when it turns,
and when they lean that dew claw can dig into the dirt, if you think
removal hurts try stripping the cover off that dew claw, leaving only
the blood supply. Has happened to my greyhounds more that once because
my Vet would only remove the claws when he had to knock her out for som
ething else. My chi had his done as a puppy and most of the big dogs
breeders do theirs as a matter of course. Anna
