in nearly 20 years of owning and 10 years of breeding chis, I have never heard this. However, it could very well be that that is the genetic makeup of the specific line that the person who told you that has experienced. This stuff is entirely genetic. There are things you can look at to HELP quess the adult weight, but the best quess is always the genetic makeup of the specific pup. So there is a good chance that whomever said that has had a line of chis that has done just that. But to my knowledge, it is not a general thing for chis. Anyone else heard this?? If there is any thing to this, it will be new to me, then again, we learn something new everyday....the reason we bother talking to other chi people...to continnue to learn. :-) Marsha
