OK i am new to this group and this will be my first post, I have a chihuahua (male) and I have thought about buying a female and breeding them, but I did my research and found out all the problems that could happen, I know my pets history and he comes from a good line, but it would just kill me, if i was to breed and something was to happen to the babies or the female, This is my first chihuahua to have and i am very careful with him, I have read that chihuahua puppies skull sometimes does not close all the way and they can have knee problems and so on, so i dont let my chi jump off of anything if i can control it sometimes he is just to hyper and all of the place to catch him, but he does not go out unless he has a harness on and so on, I understand she would like to breed them, but without a ton of research and a local WELL KNOWN breeder or someone that has A TON of experience can help her i would not do it, and i cant say that i agree with her breeding them, I know some of you on here say that you all will help her, but what is she going to do if something happens, you guys are just on the internet (not close by or anything like that) and there should be no bad blood, people have their opinions some are stronger and harsher than others, but it should not result in putting someone down that bad. I just know i could not live with my self if i caused harm or death to one of my babies.
