Hi Marsha it nice to meet you. I went to school with mostly deaf
students in high school. I thought I still remembered sign language
until recently when I meet a deaf man from the Internet that wanted
to buy some chickens from me. He did not read lips and I failed
miserably communicating with him. I could not even read his hand
writing so I was embarrassed with my lack of skills.

I also had the same major and minor in college but I never finished
school. I got married and had kids never to return. I stayed home
with my girls. I still have a 24 year old at home. I raise animals
because I enjoy them. There is not any money in it after my feed
bills.

I have been a huge animal lover all my life. I have also changed my
views of many things involving animals over the years. Some people
might not like my view. I don't really care. I also see others views
because I was wants like that. I think I have grown and they might
never see the big picture.

I don't judge people by how much money they have. I was raised by
parents that where dirt poor as kids but where wealthy do to some
good investments at the right time. My Mom was an abusive snob that
used money to control everyone around her. I rebelled and chose a
more simple life. Money does not impress me and I can't be bought. I
am an embarrassment to my mother because I won't live her country
club life. Oh well I am happy. Isn't that what matters?

My daughter is a vet tech for a small animal hospital. She has worked
there for 9 years. My best friend is an animal control officer for 20
years. They both influence a lot of my thinking when it comes to
animals. I have heard tons of stories and have seen a lot myself. I
remember being in a petsmart during adoption interviews. I was with
my girlfriend when we over heard some people being told they did not
qualify for one of there dogs do to lack of money. My girlfriend was
so mad. She went over and told the person where they could get a dog.
She later told me they adopt many dogs to the homeless. I also know
some homeless that take better care of there dogs than some people
with money. They also need a dog for unconditional love. A dog knows
love not your bank account.
