When I was at my Vet's office a few weeks ago, they had a brochure for 
Care Credit which is a credit card for health care costs including 
veterinary care.  There is no interest charged for (I think) 18 
months.  You can go to www.carecredit.com for more information.  Not 
all vets participate it this, but mine and several others in my area 
(I live in Ann Arbor, MI) participate.  It's a very quick application 
online and they let you know immediately. This may be a way you can 
ensure that she's well cared for when she delivers her babies.  Linda
