I must have missed the post from this new member, Kim, so allow me to
welcome you now. :-) I am Marsha and I am owned by 5 chis, 2 skin kids and
a host of other pets. Hope you enjoy the group.

As to the reply regarding seizures.....I am interested in hearing anything
your research into seizures shows. I have heard of injuries being one of
many causes. My mom has a chi that is WAY overweight now and her seizures
seem worse than they did when she was a healthier weight. Any correlation
known between seizures and weight?? We have never been able to determine a
cause of her seizures nor her recent weight gain. Took her to the vet last
month for a thyroid test and a few other test for clues....everything came
back that she was in perfect health. So we do not understand the weight or
the seizures. Vet did say that mom was not feeding her enough to keep her
full and recommended adding green beans to her diet because they would
make her feel full and had no calories to add weight. Wouldn't you know,
everyone of the dogs loved the green beans but her, lol.
