I think sometimes it's the "make up" in their chemical balances in their systems that can "help" make them fat.
I get really concerned about Twix, but they walk him 3 days a week, watch what food he eats...etc.

Our daughter has a FAT chi about 14 lbs, he is on a diet, but doesn't seem to loose weight. He is fawn & white with light eyes. Twix eyes match his coat color...he is so pretty! He seems very prone to weight gain, he was neutered at 7 mths due to only one testicle dropping but he was the start of this whole chihuahua thing in our home.Chance isn't fat just a bigger Chihuahua. He could stand to lose a pound or 2 maybe but he doesn't look at all fat. Misty my chi that passed away last oct. she was fat. She actually weighed a little less then Chance but she was just a smaller build or something so the 10 pounds on her was way to much. Betty
