You might want to try a SnugglePuppys.  Their website is www.snugglepuppies.com  they have a heartbeat and have a heat pack that would probably help your baby.  You didn't say how old she is but if she is under 12 weeks of age then she was too young to be taken from her mom but from what her conditions were there was probably no choice.  My Chihuahua had a hernia that was repaired and she is doing great.

Hope that helps,

Emi

Subject: [Chihuahuas] My NeW PuPPy!

Hi,
I put some pics in the files of Bigalow and my new puppy.
I guess you could say I rescued her from a less than ideal breeder.
She was in poor hygiene condition when I got her, but in less than
one week she's looking so much better. The vet says she has a hernia
that he can fix.
She is quite fiesty and vocal.
I'm feeding her milk replacement formula and a gruel of Buffalo Blue
kibble. Also, she's getting tonic vitamins 2x/day.
I was wondering if anyone has ideas that I could use for her
excessive crying/whimpering.
I think it could be she misses her parents & litter mates. She is
way too young and tiny to be pulled from her parents, but the
conditions made it neccessary.
She gets lots of cuddling and handling, yet she still whimpers and
screams when I put her to bed (sometimes howls like a wolf).
Has anyone ever heard a Chi do that?

I'm trying a hot water bottle today, because I got to get some rest!!

Darlene
